How do I care for my candle?Trim your wicks! This is so important and necessary to ensure a clean and even burn. Make sure to trim the wick to 1/4" prior to each burn. Candles have a memory! Allow your candle to burn up to 3 hours per burn, or until the wax has melted completely to the edges of the vessel before you extinguish the flame. This will promote an even burn and help prevent "tunneling". If the flame gets too high, simply extinguish, allow the wax to completely cool, trim the wick and relight! Never burn a candle longer than 4 hours. Never leave a candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets and drafts. Failure to burn and monitor your candles properly poses a fire hazard risk.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?Due to the nature of our handcrafted and small batch products, we currently do not offer refunds. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your product, please contact and we will work together to provide a solution! We want you as our valued customer to be happy about each and every product you purchase with us.

What should I do if my candle is delivered damaged or broken?We make sure to package each product with great care and love. We also understand that things happen during shipping that are out of our control. If your candle arrives broken please send us a picture to hightidecandleandco@gmail.com along with your order number and we will work to get a replacement sent out to you asap.

Can I cancel my order?We understand that circumstances change, it happens to us too! However, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time.

What is your shipping policy?Once you place your order you will receive an email from us letting you know that we received it. Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to process and ship. If a product should go out of stock, you will receive an email with replacement or refund options.

What's with the Spotify QR code?All scents or seasonal collections come with a carefully picked playlist to accompany your scent. These songs have been personally picked and want to inspire a feeling or place, based upon the candle you have purchased. We know just like scent, music is subjective, so if you don't like the songs, just toss the QR code! No need to listen, just consider it as an extra touch or gift! That's one of the things that separate High Tide from the rest! If you have a current Spotify account, scan the QR code with your phone camera then click on the link that appears. A playlist will pop up that matches the candle you purchased. Begin to listen and enjoy!

How do I clean out my vessel?We carefully and intentionally chose beautiful candle vessels that can be repurposed once you're done burning your candle. Store your favorite makeup brushes, pens, or plant your seeded dust cover for a mini flower garden! Whatever you decide, we are sure you'll find a use that is perfect for you! Place your candle in the freezer overnight Remove all excess wax and the wick clip using the back end of a spoon or other hard object. You can then clean the rest out and shine the vessel up with rubbing alcohol or Windex. To remove the label, heat it up with a blow dryer. Use rubbing alcohol to remove the adhesive.
